BUSH WINS

- Kerry concedes election. Sen. John Kerry conceded defeat to President Bush today and asked the country to put the bitter divisions of the election behind them. "I spoke to President Bush and I offered him and Laura our congratulations on their victory," Kerry said in a speech to a cheering crowd in Boston.

He writes, ?Aong with Bush is a gallery of grotesques in the Senate?more than one of the new senators advocating capital punishment for abortion, another urging that all gay teachers be fired, yet another revealed as suffering from obvious symptoms of Alzheimer?s.? Welcome to the new day.
